Washington DC Power Pass: Madame Tussauds To Debut New Theodore Roosevelt Figure

Madame Tussauds Washington D.C., which is part of the Washington DC Power Pass, will feature a new wax figure of President Theodore Roosevelt beginning on President's Day, February 16th, 2009.  Power Pass customers should be sure look for this new figure when visiting Madame Tussauds.

Complete with his trademark spectacles, President Roosevelt’s dapper figure dons a black suit with a long waistcoat and gold pocket watch. His wax likeness will join Presidents Washington, Nixon and George W. Bush in the attraction’s new Presidential gallery which offers an in-depth look at all 43 past U.S. Presidents.

Roosevelt was a professional historian, naturalist, explorer, hunter, author and soldier. At 42, he became the youngest President to be inaugurated into office after President William McKinley’s assassination. Best known for his strong interest in engaging the United States in world politics, Roosevelt penned the foreign-policy motto, “Speak softly but carry a big stick.”  During his Presidency, he also negotiated for the U.S. to take control of the Panama Canal.

Admission to Madame Tussauds Washington DC location is included in the Washington DC Power Pass.
